Introducing the Bay Area Epic
Silicon Valley's first socially-distanced gravel grinder!
All our events in 2020 were cancelled due to COVID, but that's not going to stop us in 2021. Charge your GPS and pack your go bag -- here comes the Bay Area Epic!
With 3 course options ranging from hard to super hard, the Bay Area Epic covers some of the most scenic riding the South Bay has to offer including miles and miles of dreamy gravel.
Riders can choose to do this ride any day in the month of May. Rides are to be completed solo and unsupported, and finishers are expected to submit ride reports as well as a handful of selfies from specified locations throughout the course.
As an added bonus, all courses include KOM segments on selected paved climbs where you'll be able to see how you stack up against other participants.
You can find the full list of rules here. Winners will be announced in June!
This is a non-profit event. All proceeds go to benefit two amazing causes; Peninsula Open Space Trust which helps to preserve and maintain open space preserves (including two you'll be riding through), and Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley which helps feed 500,000 people in our community every month.
