The Bay Area Epic begins April 2023
Silicon Valley's first socially-distanced gravel grinder is back for the third year running!
The Bay Area Epic is back for 2023 with brand new routes -- charge your GPS and pump up your tires, here comes the Bay Area Epic!
With 3 course options ranging from hard to super hard, the Bay Area Epic covers some of the most scenic riding the Peninsula has to offer including miles and miles of dreamy gravel.
Riders can choose to do this ride any day in the month of April. There's no mass start, but you're welcome to ride the course with friends! All finishers are expected to submit ride reports as well as a handful of selfies from specified locations throughout the course.Â
As an added bonus, all courses include KOM segments where you'll be able to see how you stack up against other participants.

This is a non-profit event. All proceeds go to benefit two amazing causes; Peninsula Open Space Trust which helps to preserve and maintain over 80,000 acres of open space (including many areas you'll be riding through), and Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley which helps feed 500,000 people in our community every month.
